Ajiveena a non – profit registered Charitable Trust was founded on 7 April 2005 with the conviction to equip the physically challenged and dependant pedestrians so that they can achieve higher goals in life.

The concept has been initiated by Mr. Jogesh Sehdeva, Managing Director, Reflomax India who was moved by an incident on a highway while he was driving with his family. He got hostile and stepped down to abuse a man who suddenly appeared in front of his car. But just after a while he realized that the man was visually impaired. It left a deep impression and urge to do something for them as he has been in safety industry for years. His concern was that there shouldn't be another person getting into the same situation that I had experienced. Thus was born Ajiveena in January 2005, an initiative towards equipping the visually challenged with the clothing that will help save wearer's life on the roads.

Before launching Ajiveena Movement committed team members interacted with various visually impaired and found that most of them expressed their inability to move out of their homes after sundown. Fear of accidents kept them indoors thus felt the need for Ajiveena Vest.

Providing the visually impaired with Ajiveena vest is the first step while there is a need for awareness campaign has been initiated amongst the general public as well as those who drive vehicles. They have also sought the cooperation of the safety cell of the Delhi Police.

The concern of Ajiveena movement has expanded to many other sectors that find difficulty in crossing the road like oldies, kids, physically challenged and other dependant pedestrians.
